Meet Your Richmond Dentist, Dr. Marci Guthrie
Dr. Guthrie has built her career around one simple goal: helping patients receive excellent dental care while having a positive experience in the dental chair.
Her connection to dentistry began before dental school when she worked as a dental assistant. She later earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at VCU.
Dr. Guthrie has continued her education throughout her career through advanced training at organizations including The Dawson Academy and Spear Education. She has also earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Beyond the practice, Dr. Guthrie is actively involved in Richmond’s dental community through organizations including the Richmond Dental Society and Virginia Dental Association and has participated in programs that expand access to dental care both locally and beyond Virginia.
